Summer Cross Country Camp (Intermediate Running Camp)
This camp is designed to inspire youth to enjoy the sport of running and to learn to care for their active bodies. We will teach the fundamentals of becoming a runner, as well as help those who already run, to improve. Over the course of four days we will cover running technique, mobility, regeneration, goal setting, nutrition and program design. The workshops will focus on the essentials to keep our youth free of injury while they work towards their goals. Every new runner should leave with the ability to plan their own couch to 5k. Every experienced runner should leave with a solid plan to reach their next goal and more tools to prevent injury and burn-out.
About the Coach
Coach Couture has been a runner for over 30 years; both recreationally and competitively. She is a certified personal trainer and health and nutrition coach of 15 years. She has a Masters in Nutrition and specializes in athletic performance and the gut-microbiome. She is a teacher and a coach and loves working with youth of all ages.
